Our school kitchen is run by HC3S and offers a choice of healthy hot meals every day. The menus are planned to appeal to the children and there is a three weekly cycle. For more details on our menu, please click the following link:
We operate a cashless policy whereby the only method to pay for School Dinners is via Scopay. It is expected that all dinners are paid for in advance.
Does your child need a medical special diet to eat lunch at school? If so, you need to create an account to register your child for a medical special diet.
Once you have created your account, HC3S will be able to review your medical evidence with their NHS dietician in order to devise an adapted menu for your child's school lunch.
Living with allergies comes with its own set of rules so when it comes to food, as education caterers, we want to make this as easy as possible for you as a family. Our staff are trained in food safety and regularly update their skills on allergens. We never underestimate the dangers of food allergies and intolerances and that's why we work hard to get it right. More details can be found here:
What Are Universal Infant Free School Meals? All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a meal, free of charge, under the current Government UIFSM programme:
- registration is not required
- each child will be able to have a hot, two course meal at their school which includes a meat or non-meat main item, vegetables, potato, pasta or rice, salad and a dessert
What are FREE SCHOOL MEALS? Known as the Pupil Premium, this is additional funding available for pupils of families on benefits or low income. You can still apply even if your child is in the Infants and already has a free meal as per above. Claiming Free School Meals means funding will be invested in your child to support them at school. This can be used to provide free meals, additional teaching, uniform, help with the cost of school trips, after school clubs and the provision of free school milk.
To find out if you may be eligible, please click on the link below. You will need your child's details plus your date of birth and National Insurance Number.
Just a reminder that we are still here to support you and your family in these tricky times. If you would like to request a food parcel for your family, you can email Mrs Anders on firstname.lastname@example.org in complete confidence and this will be arranged. Info needed is the number of adults and ages of the children in household so that the parcels can be the right size. Parcels can include female sanitary items, nappies (please advise size) & baby wet wipes if requested. Orders are put in on Tuesday and delivered to school on Friday for collection.
