Latest OFSTED report
Please click below to read our latest Ofsted inspection. Ofsted recognised our school as a place where pupils thrive, we achieved an Exceptional grade which under the new grading system means ‘Rare practice that is among the best nationally and serves as a model for others.’ as well as 6 x Strong which means ‘Excellent, consistent work that consistently exceeds baseline expectations.’ It also states that our school is a "remarkable beacon of hope for a great many pupils and their families."
What makes us most proud is what the report says about our children.
Ofsted found that:
•"Pupils' behaviour is impeccable."
•"Pupils naturally demonstrate respect and kindness."
•"Older pupils are role models for younger pupils. They make sure nobody is left out."
•"Pupils throughout the school love learning."
•"Pupils are polite, courteous and considerate of one another."
•"Highly effective, nurturing relationships are at the heart of the school's approach."
The report highlights that every pupil is known as an individual, feels valued and included, and is supported to succeed. Ofsted recognised that staff work hard to ensure pupils feel "safe, secure and confident" and that children are empowered to thrive both socially and academically.
We were particularly proud that inspectors described inclusivity as "the beating heart of this small rural school" and noted that "Staff care deeply about every pupil and work hard to ensure they feel valued and included as part of the school community."
This report belongs to every child who comes through our doors each day with enthusiasm, kindness and determination. They are the reason our school is such a special place. We would also like to thank our dedicated staff, supportive families, governors and wider community for helping make Tiptoe the nurturing and inclusive school that it is.
Together, we continue to live our values of Inspire, Believe and Achieve.
