  When we practice our handwriting we focus on patterns which build on the three basic letter shapes,

 l   for example the long ladder- down and off in another direction,s , i, j, l, t, u     

c, for example the curly caterpillar  anti clockwise- c, a, d, e, g, o, q, f, 

 r, for example the one-armed robot  b, h, k, m, n, p, r;

 z, for example the  zigzag letters- v, w, x, z
